Ministry of Education Scholarship-Sponsored Overseas Study Examination – 2025 Brochure

1. Examination Details: The following information details the examination’s subject matter, registration dates, test and interview dates, anticipated admission quotas, and date of official announcement.
2. Examination Subjects: Chinese Composition and two specialized subjects, totaling three subjects.
   1. Registration Method & Dates: All registration will be conducted online, with the submission of required documents. Registration will be open from 8:00 AM on July 15, 2025, to 5:00 PM on July 29, 2025.
   2. Written Examination Date: October 4, 2025.
   3. Interview Dates: December 6th and 7th, 2025.
   4. Anticipated Admission Quotas: 201 students, including: 151 general scholarship students, 10 students under the ‘Luyue’ (Excel) Scholarship Program, 20 indigenous students, 10 students with disabilities, and 10 students for study abroad in New Southbound Countries.
   5. Academic Level: Scholarship-sponsored overseas study is exclusively for doctoral degree programs. However, within the ‘Arts’ academic clusters and ‘Architecture, Planning & Design’ academic clusters, research areas within specific departments may pursue a Master’s degree. Students under the ‘Luyue,’ ‘Indigenous,’ and ‘Disability’ special categories, and those receiving scholarships for study abroad in New Southbound Countries, are permitted to pursue either a Master’s or Doctoral degree.
   6. Announcement of Results: The official announcement of the results will be made on December 31, 2025.
3. Important Note: Candidates for this examination are required to attend the written examination and interviews in person. Video interviews will not be accepted. Applicants are advised to plan their itineraries accordingly.
